Daily Inspiration

My golf plans fell through today. I was bummed, I even put my lil' old lady golf shoes on. That's alright, I'll just look at these pictures of the great Arnold Palmer and get pumped for playing next week.

I bought this huge golf picture book at the thrift store so I could daydream and use it for some kind of sweet art project.

This song always fills me with inspiration... especially the video. They are horseback riding on the beach and FISHING! Those are things I want to do!!!

Sundown

Washing my car. This is only notable because I find it funny since washing it is like polishing a piece of poo. That's mean, but this is car reliable...not cute or sexy, but reliable.

I have many nicknames for this ride. Red Beard, Crunchy Red, Triselle, Trista.

Went to the Angeles Forest again. Can't stay out of that place.

Guess Ima nature freak.

Oh, just hanging out in the street, in a national forest.

This picture reminds of mystical hippies for some reason.

About 20 minutes into the Forest, near Mt. Waterman ski resort is this gem. A restaurant in the forest, that serves beer!

The finest.
Fried food, this blog has kinda made me realize that I eat crappy. I need to rectify that.

Fish and chips, might not have been the wisest choice.

This song was running through my head.

Mt. Baldy Lodge Birthday Fun, Part 2

Ah, chips. I ate a lot of them. Good flavor.

I was on pool cleaning duty.

Nice form Tammy!

Nature was blowing my mind!!!

Did I mention this place had volleyball?? No, well it does....

and a pool side tiki bar!!!

We tried to go fishing in this trout pond nearby, but it is was closed. It was cool though since we found this refreshing glacial river to splash in across the street.

Ah, more nature.

There just happened to be a lot of sweet graffiti around. Loving this hesher metal dude skull.

Hey, punk's not dead.

Amazing penis drawing going towards a pac-man looking face.

Sloth Bear made it out, he was a little camera shy.

Nothing accentuates majestic beauty like sepia tones. Bye Forest.

Made it into town just in time to lend my trippy guitar playing skillz to The Ayana Hampton Show at REDCAT. Ayana is so talented and funny. It was an honor to be apart of her show and if you missed it you are bummed.

Mt. Baldy Lodge Birthday Fun, Part 1

Hey! It was Arl's birthday. This is him eating some birthday lunch at Carousel in Glendale.

His girlfriend Tammy holding the birthday super lotto ticket.

Fun Glendale window display.

So Poshy.

So I guess Mashti Malone's in Glendale closed down so we had to settle for some Cold Stone. Peanut butter cup/ vanilla mash-up fantasy.

That's a grumpy back-seat passenger me on her way to the Angeles National Forest for Arlie's birthday sleepover in the woods!

THIS IS ONLY 49 MINUTES AWAY!!! When you're there it feels like you are on a legit vacation. Like you are in Montana or Switzerland or something.

The Lodge.

My bed.
Festive cabin decor.

It was fun to swim in a pool and look up and see nothing man made, just mountains and forest.

Drinks in the Mt. Baldy Lodge bar. Let's get a group of friends together and go here!
